Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains how LegalTemplates.com subscriptions can be canceled and when cancellation becomes effective for our current plans: 7-Day Limited Access, 7-Day Unlimited Access, and Annual Plan. This Policy works together with our Terms of Use, Subscription Policy, and Refund Policy.

1. How to Cancel

• Log in to your LegalTemplates.com account.
• Open your subscription or billing management area.
• Select the option to cancel your subscription.
• Complete any confirmation step shown on screen.
• Retain your cancellation confirmation email or account notice for your records.

If you cannot access your account, contact support@legaltemplates.com before your renewal date.

2. When Cancellation Takes Effect

• Cancellation stops future automatic renewals.
• Your cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• You may continue to access included subscription features until the end of that paid period unless otherwise stated at checkout.
• The optional Document Package is a one-time checkout purchase and does not require recurring cancellation.

3. Trial Cancellations

• 7-Day Limited Access must be canceled before the end of its 7-day trial to avoid the first $39.00/month renewal.
• 7-Day Unlimited Access begins with a $1.00 charge today for 7 days of access. You must cancel before day 8 to avoid the first $39.00/month renewal.
• If you do not cancel before the applicable renewal date, the subscription will continue as a paid subscription and renew automatically unless canceled.
• Once a paid charge has been processed, the charge is handled under our Refund Policy.

4. Automatic Renewal

7-Day Limited Access renews monthly at $39.00/month, 7-Day Unlimited Access renews monthly at $39.00/month after its introductory period, and Annual Plan renews annually at $479.40 unless canceled before the next renewal date. Renewal timing, pricing disclosures, and consent language are presented during checkout and are also addressed in our Subscription Policy.

5. Document Package Purchases

The optional Document Package is currently offered during checkout for $14.95 as a one-time add-on. It does not auto-renew and does not require future cancellation.

Because it is a one-time digital purchase, buying the Document Package does not create a separate recurring subscription, and once purchased it is governed by our Refund Policy.

6. No Partial Refunds

Canceling your subscription does not create a right to a refund or prorated credit for unused time in the current billing period. Refund handling is governed separately by our Refund Policy.

7. Access After Cancellation

• Access included with your active subscription generally remains available until the end of your current paid billing term.
• Documents or files already generated and downloaded remain subject to the applicable product terms.
• Purchased Document Package materials remain subject to the terms presented at checkout.
